Joe has signed a contract with modelling Agency Next. He will now be sent for casting for some of the biggest fashion brands. Well done Joe!, Though I hope this doesnt interfere with his Debut Album Release!

Brit Award 2010 Nomination For Best Single
Joe has recieved a Brit Award 2010 Nomination for Best Britsh Single for his debut release ‘The Climb’. The awards take place on February 16th 2010 at Londons Earls Court, This years host will be Peter Kay. Other artists in Joes catagory include his X Factor mentor Cherly Cole, for her number 1 single ‘ Fight For This Love’. And former X Factor Runners Up JLS for ‘Beat Again’.

Joe To Perform At The National TV Awards!
Joe has been invited to perform at the star studded National TV Awards in London next Wednesday (20th January 2010). It has been confirmed that Joe will perform Dont Stop Believin as opossed to his number one chart hit The Climb.
Jedward are also to make an appearance and it is believed that they will perform with Vanilla Ice!

Joe McElderry Misses out on the Christmas Number 1

Joe McElderry’s bid for the Christmas No.1 spot was hijacked by a facebook campaign which saw
Rage Against the Machines (RATM) 1992 song ‘Killing in the Name’ making the No 1 spot giving
Joe second place in the annual battle.
RATM out sold Joes ‘The Climb’ by 50,000 copies, with the incident beeing deemed as ‘The biggest
chart upset ever’.
Although it has been reported that Joe is devastated by the result, he recently stated on Radio,
that a bit of competition was good.
Sony on the other hand, owning rights to both songs will be the real winners this Christmas..
